Frequently asked
How do I connect to my Windows VPS?
Over Remote Desktop (RDP). Once the server is provisioned, connect with any Remote Desktop client using the server's IP address, the Administrator account and the password you chose at order time.
Which CPU runs my Windows VPS?
Our Windows VPS plans run on Intel Xeon Gold 6230 processors, up to 3.9 GHz, with 27.5 MB of L3 cache and AVX-512. That server-grade platform is what holds performance steady under sustained load.
Is the Windows Server license included?
No, the licence is not currently included in our Windows Server plans.
Can I use an SSH key?
No. Windows images use password authentication only: you set the Administrator password when ordering, and RDP is the way in. SSH keys remain available on our Linux VPS offers.
Can I switch between Windows and Linux?
No. Windows VPS and Linux VPS are separate offers: a Windows server always reinstalls onto a Windows image. If you need both, order one of each.
How do I change the Administrator password?
From inside Windows once logged in over RDP, like on any Windows machine. If you lose it, reinstalling from the dashboard sets a fresh password. The disk is wiped in the process.
Can I set my own reverse DNS (PTR)?
Yes, at no extra cost. From the Network tab of the dashboard, you set the hostname your server's IPv4 answers with, along with any extra IPv4 you ordered. It matters as soon as you send mail or expose a service that has to identify itself.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancelling renewal from the dashboard is enough: the server stays up until the end of the period you already paid for, with no fee and no notice period.
Pick a plan, get your RDP access.
No commitment. You cancel from the dashboard whenever you want.
